AGNATI becomes part of the BP Group (www.briviopierino.com)

AGNATI S.p.A., since 1932 a significant landmark for the corrugated board industry worldwide, have entered an agreement finalised to a deep reorganisation of the structure of the Company, which includes the entrance of a new Italian investor, Messrs. GRUPPO BRIVIO PIERINO & C.

Founded in 1950, the Group is involved in such industries as steelwork production, high precision metal working, and in the manufacture of compacting vehicles for the collection of urban solid wastes.
Nowadays, the GRUPPO BRIVIO PIERINO & C. is present, either directly or through a network of sister Companies, on the main world markets, in Europe, Middle East, Africa and China (www.briviopierino.com).

The new Company - BP-AGNATI S.r.l. - will remain located in the same, historic manufacturing site in Vimercate (MI/Italy), and will feature a leaner and more flexible structure to answer better to the new demands of the today’s market, keeping at the same time the technical and technological know-how which allowed AGNATI to be recognised as one of the world Industry Leaders.
The new Company will continue with the production and the constant development of its traditional range of products (machines and corrugating rolls), and will further improve the Spares and Services Departments, thus guaranteeing efficiency and quality to its Customers worldwide. The business activities of the new Company - BP-AGNATI S.r.l. - will officially start on June 3, 2009.
